high weald house

Ash was appointed to deliver this energy-efficient three-storey commercial building for SeaChange.  Internally, High Weald House has a light-filled atrium incorporating offices, meeting areas and tea points, designed to encourage the tenants to mix and collaborate. With an EPC rating of A(21) this makes the most of daylight and delivers natural ventilation. Externally a Brise Soleil systems performs a very simple function: to break up the sun's rays. When positioned above or across windows or glazed building facades, the Brise Soleil blades cut out direct summer sun, which rises to a maximum angle of 62 degrees in the UK. Other external works included; drainage, ample car-parking & landscaping.
