Ash was successful in securing this 2-storey new build extension project. The extension consisted of the construction of a double-storey infill extension to the existing secondary school building, providing additional facilities. There will be no increase in the pupil numbers, merely the provision of additional accommodation for The JFS School. The new extension holds a total gross external floor area of approximately 810 m2 and a footprint of 380 m2 providing a large area for teaching space and staff rooms. Programme and minimal disruption was crucial to the delivery of this project as the existing building was in full use by students throughout the build process.
